On ne pourra certainement pas reprocher à Subnuba de vouloir aller trop vite : si le groupe annonçait la sortie prochaine d'un album avec le single Ascending Light, Distant Pixel ne sortira que trois ans plus tard. Et à l'écoute de cette pépite, je dirai qu'on ne pourra pas reprocher grand-chose à Subnuba tout court. Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723
